I hereby declare that im not as avid a blogger as i used to be and from now on posts are only going to come once in a full moon (which is more often than once in a blue moon)

Recently...

I really dont see the point of me blogging anymore...i take a look at my baby's blog and mine seems pathetic...furthermore we usually almost always have the same things to write about.... and i feel that her coverage of recent times seem so much more comprehensive that mine will ever be... reason being i dont have the time nor the patience....


So here's what i've been up to recently... Gladly, i can say that life seems to have taken a big step up....




First up would be my life in the world of music....



My band Cynosure seems to have taken a step up in the underground music scene thansk to falique. We were recently invited for a gig at a club called Vinyl in Melaka

Then my car club... we recently had 2 very succesful meetup sessions and it seems to be expanding! Recent one was at Bukit Jalil, where we found a new mamak which has a really nice sprint course around it....

Sublime TT session 17/8/07

Today was a long day... sent charlotte to the body shop to fix up a dent i picked up a week ago. Damn firehydrant just came right into her boot and left a dent there.. damn firehydrant... :p

brought my baby to a clothes sales thing at an office for a company called Lunch Actually, who are a specialized match making organization.... Interesting line of work if i may say so coz i never knew we had a service of this nature in Malaysia.

Had a fantastic TT Session with the boys from Team Sublime and my baby tagged along....

Took loads of pics with my camera but im kinda lazy to load but the pictures below basically speak a thousand words....

It was good fun meeting up with the guys again and good to see that we're keeping the Team alive and kicking...

The meetup was in Kayu SS2 for drinks and then we proceeded to some secluded piece of road in PJ....

My Very Own Proton Spyshots!!

Notice the recent hype being stirred up by proton about their new 4 door saloon car?
Im not sure what type of marketing stunt their trying to pull, but it seems as if their hoping people will place bookings for a car that hasnt even been released yet...nor has it even been released to the public eye.
But from the little that i know, the new proton is supposed to be a facelifted version of the Gen 2.

So im not sure what i saw that Friday morning...

Well, on my way to work along the NPE after the Sunway toll, i spotted a weird looking black car turning onto the NPE just before Sunway Pyramid. It wasnt until i got about 20m from the car when i realized it has a lot of masking stuck on to various parts of the outer shell....

The front lights were 80% covered but looked somewhat like a more muscular front profile of the Savvy..

The front bumper was also covered up and i couldnt get a good look at much of its styling but it did have the middle nose section ala Proton Waja, only much smaller.

Unfortunately, i didnt manage to get any pics of the front as i was driving and its not wise to turn backwards, take a photo and drive at the same time..

But i did however, get some good teaser shots of the rear and side which was mostly masked up as well...

Picture from the back... The whole concept seems to be headed towards a waja replacement... A rather high profile rear end but with very old styling cues which have been seen before... Not so good from the rear view...




Here's a partial side view...Also ather waja-ish with slight rear wheel arches and thre was also a bit of arch at the front fender....


Well..im using a K700i which only has a 1.3 MP camera and im really dissapointed that the pictures suck....

Not sure what this proton is gona be called or wheher its a proton at all.... But i have to say, from the little that i've seen, it doesnt look too good....

Protons designers really need a facelift of their own if they ever hope to create cars which are on par with newer designs. Well, considering that their new team just created a "facelift" for the waja (revised front grill) which is horrendous to me and seems more like a "facedrop", i think theyve got a long way to go.

Shades of grey

I feel alone and a rather peculiar emptiness....

My mind is clouded... I cant seem to sleep....

I cant seem to understand these shades of grey... although it empowers me to express these thoughts.


Conflicts in expectations, desires and perceptions hardly end well once there is love involved...

The conflict starts with me.... I'm responsible for all this....

My mind has changed with time...but my heart has'nt....

My honesty hurts, my dishonesty hurts even more....
I cant stand being the cause of so much pain..
My honesty and intentions are never meant to hurt... but they always do...
I dont feel worthy.. i dont know how to be worthy....

Im not savouring this slice of heartache...

i know pain doesnt last long.... i pray it wont...

If there was no love.... this pain would not exist....

Know that i love you... its ironic that we have to overcome a storm caused by the love that holds us together...

There always seems to be a piece of this jigsaw puzzle that doesnt fit.

I wish i knew the answers....

I dont want to lose you...

Good things come small...

Recently, i managed to get some small details done to the car... they may be minor add ons, but the end result is just so pleasing to the eye...my eye that is....if you dont like it then im sorry.... :p

My baby's "poor thing" face when she noticed that there were more pics of charlotte than of her.... thats not true!!!!

Oh yea...forgot to mention that my career is picking up pretty well...i just got promoted to senior executive status in my company...a nice gradual step up for me which im slowly getting used to....

Next month... ill be getting seat covers, planning on changing the front 2 headrests and maybe get some nicer bulbs.... dont know yet...

But one things for certain...

I need a hair cut....

Eye lids..

My paintjob has just kick started my obsession of cosmetics modifications.... I jts DIY'ed my own eye lids for the car and will be custom making some decals at Dpro on saturday for some empty parts of the car...

and after getting about 2 feet of black sticker sheet, inaccurate measuring and sticking...here's what the change looks like...



Up close, the work isnt very good..a few crease lines here and there...but from a reasonable distance, it serves the purpose...
